2001 Audiovisuel, subsidiary of the Telfrance Group, created in 2003 and managed by Laetitia Recayte, is changing names to become NeweN Distribution as of September 1st 2010. NeweN Distribution aims to promote its catalog of over 4000 hours of programs produced both by NeWeN (made up of the Telfrance Group and its subsidiaries, BE Aware, CAPA) and by external independent producers (Son [&] Lumière, Rendez-vous, Little big, Label Anim, Label Image, Per Diem, Super Woman, Grand Large, Alpha Line, A7 Media…). NeweN Distribution’s catalog is made up mainly of dramas (series, mini-series, telefilms…) as well as documentaries, flow and animation formats. It has a clear editorial line of high-quality programmes that can bring together a large audience of all ages. NeweN Distribution has been regularly nominated for the French Export Prize (Drama [&] Documentary section) and won it in 2007 for its mini-series Lagardère and in 2008 for the series Engrenages. The company regularly reinforces its international standing with significant sales such as the first ever sale of a non-English language drama to the BBC (Engrenages), sales of its major series in Italy and the adaptation of the programme Les Maternelles for the Middle Eastern market. NeweN Distribution is very present and active at the major international television marketplaces and thus ensures that the main broadcasters, video producers and operators on the five continents remain informed about its ever-changing catalogue.
